Exterior Window Clean

Typically we will use a water fed pole system to clean your windows and frames using pure water. There are numerous advantages to this method, the main one being that using pure water allows us to completely rinse away all contaminants from your windows. This means when it dries, there are no minerals or impurities in the water to leave spots and scale on the surface of the glass, this has the added benefit of lower maintenance and should take a longer time before they start to look dirty again.

First time/one off cleans will be more expensive as they will require more labour and pure water to flush all the contaminants off the surfaces out of the seals, particularly if the windows have been traditionally cleaned for a long time.

We can offer traditional squeegee and cloth cleaning but this will incur a higher charge to reflect the higher labour and risks involved with this method. If required, please contact us for a quote.

Interior Window Clean

Taking exceptional care inside your home and making sure no damage comes to any possessions, using the traditional applicator & squeegee method, all window glass is manually cleaned and then buffed with a cloth, ensuring that there are no foreign objects left on the glass. All surrounding frame internals and sills are also cleaned as part of this package.

Conservatories

Conservatory glass is cleaned in the same manner as other windows, however the frames and solid panels of the conservatory often require a bit more work to bring back to a like new condition.

We offer both a sides only package and a full roof and sides package, but we generally recommend both unless the roof has been done recently.

Lead-Lights/Georgian Panes

Due to the fragile nature of Leaded windows, more care is required to ensure they are spotless. We will typically only use the traditional method on older, less watertight windows to lower any chance of water ingress. We avoid any potentially damaging chemicals and instead use de-ionized water and cotton wool to gently remove any imperfections, ensuring all metalwork is dry.

Georgian Panes are more labour intensive than modern large pane windows and therefore take longer to clean. Using specialised smaller applicators and squeegees we ensure that all panes are left clean and clear.

These window types will carry a small additional charge as a result of the additional time required to complete.
